About the Guest
Associate Professor Dr Uchechukwu Levi Osuagwu is a public health researcher and Academic Lead in Rural Health at the Bathurst Rural Clinical School, School of Medicine, Western Sydney University. His research focuses on improving health equity for underserved communities, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and rural populations, through culturally responsive and translational research. An internationally recognised scholar, Levi has published more than 160 peer-reviewed articles and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Passionate about collaboration and capacity building, he leads research initiatives that strengthen partnerships across academia, healthcare, and communities to improve health outcomes in Australia and beyond.
